What did everyone think about the qualify and then race one 25 lap race format? That the club did last Saturday night? (6-15-13)

I did not like the format... I got real bored waiting 3 hours to race again.. I'm glad the board tried something new but I did not care for it. I watched the juniors race and I know the karts out front had to deal with a lot of lapped traffic. Reminded me of the old champ races on the small track.

Thanks but no thanks Exclamation

It was a nice change of pace. I needed 40 for my driver to wear down pierce though. Lol

Did not like it. In Jrs there was lapped traffic by the 4th lap, which IMHO altered the outcome and made the race very frustrating hitting lappers ever 2-3 laps thereafter. I hope we never do that again, especially on the shortest track that we have. Also did not like getting a pre final.

It was an interesting experiment, but with all of the blue flagging that was needed, it put a lot of slower drivers in danger far too often.
