Gold cup
I just read ovka board minutes and i am totally confused. Why is ovka giving money for food to the gold cup people??? Ovka benefits nothing from this. If thevtrack wants to give then so be it but the club should give nothing. Someone explain the logic here??

It is not uncommon for a track to host a dinner for a series and our club should welcome karters to our home track and do what we can to promote both our home track and our club.
I am looking for donations now to help do the same thing for the GLSS race in July.

Mike..I think we have lost site of what we are doing. The Club does not have any ownership of the track, nor will they ever. so I don't understand why the Club gives out money to promote the track? The Club will not gain anything from the gold cup coming to the track, they have come for years, and they never come back to run a 4 cycle class that the club can benefit from. Seems to me like spending good money with no return.

They are running old "A". Ugh..... To short of track for TaG (IMO) and the juniors will have to deal with lapped traffic again. Lets just hope for a dry weekend.
